Last week, Odesa was graced by the visit of Mr. Ozgur Tonguc Chukhali, the ambassador of the Odesa Golf Club in Turkey. Previously, Mr. Chukhali lived and worked in Odesa, representing the interests of Ukrainian and Turkish businessmen, and participated in the reconstruction of the children's psychiatric home 'Sonechko'.

During his visit, the ambassador toured 'Sonechko', engaging with the children and medical staff, and also attended Library No. 21, where he led a golf masterclass.

As noted by Hanna Lunyova, acting head of the maternal and child health sector, Mr. Chukhali assured that further collaboration and sponsorship from sister city Istanbul would continue.

On February 17, the Odesa Golf Club hosted a masterclass at Library No. 21 for students of Lyceum No. 81, where children learned golf techniques and received prizes.

The ambassador also shared insights about golf clubs in Turkey and their activities in schools and libraries.

The visit outlined potential cooperation between Bodrum and Odesa to promote Olympic sports, particularly golf.
