Ukrainian Synchronised Swimming Championship in Kyiv
From December 14 to 17, the Ukrainian Synchronised Swimming Championship took place in Kyiv.
Seventy-five athletes from eight teams representing Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa regions, and Kyiv competed for the title of the best team in Ukraine.
Among the participants was the Odesa region team, which included athletes from the Specialized Children and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve «Chornomorets»: Vladyslava Kocherba, Yelizaveta Syedova, Sofiya Sarukhanyan, and Yuliya Rerak.
Vladyslava Kocherba excelled by becoming a four-time champion of Ukraine, winning first places in technical, free, and acrobatic categories. She also claimed the top spot among soloists in the technical program.
Vladyslava is part of the main squad of the Ukrainian national team.
Bronze medals in technical duets were earned by Yuliya Rerak and Sofiya Sarukhanyan, while Yelizaveta Syedova and Yuliya Rerak secured bronze in free duets.
Sofiya Sarukhanyan achieved silver in both technical and free programs among soloists.
The athletes were trained by the honored coach of Ukraine, Olga Nikolaychuk.
