The prestigious European Karate Championship in the absolute weight category for adults and the European Cup for various age groups concluded in Bucharest, Romania.

A total of 878 participants from 18 countries competed.

The Ukrainian national team included athletes from Odesa.

Yegor Teply secured a silver medal in the 14-15 age group (under 75 kg category), while Yana Stozhenko earned a similar medal in the 8-9 age category (under 30 kg).

Bronze medals were awarded to Sofia Vinnychenko (for 8-9 years, under 30 kg), Polina Klymenko (10-11 years, under 30 kg), and Maxim Papov (14-15 years, under 60 kg).

The athletes were coached by Serhiy Papov, Vladyslav Panchenko, and Pavlo Vinnychenko.
