The Judo Championship of Ukraine for athletes under 17 years was held in Uzhhorod from November 17 to 19, 2025.

More than 500 young athletes born between 2009 and 2011 from 21 regions of Ukraine participated in the event.

The team from Odesa region included students from the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 15 in Odesa.

In the 73 kg category, the silver medal was claimed by Volodymyr Sorvachov, while Yurii Pinchuk earned a bronze in the 66 kg category.

The athletes were trained by coach Hennadii Yaremenko.

There are 143 young athletes training in the judo section of the municipal sports schools in Odesa.
