Details: Zelensky's office confirmed the meeting with Trump occurred but did not provide any specifics. According to the Office of the President, the meeting lasted approximately 15 minutes.

This meeting was the first following a heated exchange in the Oval Office in Washington in February, and it took place at a critical time in negotiations aimed at halting hostilities between Ukraine and Russia.

"President Trump and President Zelensky met privately today and had a very productive discussion. More detailed information about the meeting will be released later," said Stephen Chung, White House communications director.

Trump, who is urging both sides to agree on a ceasefire, stated on Friday that productive talks were held between his envoy and Russian leadership, and called for a high-level meeting between Kyiv and Moscow to finalize an agreement.

Earlier, media reported that the Trump administration presented Ukraine with a one-page document in Paris, referred to as a "final proposal" for peace settlement. Among other things, the US is willing to recognize Russia's control over Crimea and ease sanctions against Moscow.

On April 24, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the US offered its strategy regarding Ukraine's territories during negotiations in London, but he noted that after the US proposal, "another paper" emerged.
