Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky engaged in a discussion with the US President regarding the enhancement of air defense and expanding air defense capabilities, as well as collaboration in the defense industry and diplomatic efforts for a "fair" peace agreement.

Direct quote from Zelensky: "We talked about the current situation: Russian airstrikes and the broader situation on the front. President Trump is well informed about our challenges, and I thank him for this attention. We discussed the possibilities regarding air defense and agreed to work on increasing our aerial protection. We agreed on a meeting of our teams".

Zelensky noted that during the conversation, they also explored capabilities in the defense industry and opportunities for joint production.

"We are ready for direct projects with America, considering it is extremely necessary for security, especially concerning drones and related technologies," the president stated.

Another topic was mutual procurement and investments. "We exchanged views on the diplomatic situation and joint work with America and other partners," Zelensky added.

The President expressed gratitude for US support and emphasized the need for a "fair agreement for peace, and Ukraine supports American proposals."
