Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced a new appointment, selecting Alona Hetmanchuk as the head of Ukraine's mission to NATO, succeeding Natalia Halibarenko.

On June 13, Zelensky dismissed Halibarenko from her position. On the same day, he appointed Hetmanchuk to the role.

Alona Hetmanchuk is an expert in American studies, the director of the "New Europe" Center, an associate senior analyst at the Atlantic Council of the USA, and a regular contributor to "European Truth".
