Recent Earthquake in Romania: Key Information
According to the Romanian National Institute for Earth Physics Research, a magnitude 4.2 earthquake occurred at 00:59 in the Vrancea seismic zone. Its epicenter was located near the city of Buzau, approximately 50-70 kilometers from other areas.
This seismic zone is known for its activity, which occasionally affects southern regions of Ukraine, particularly Odessa.
Currently, there have been no reports of damage in the Odessa region.
It is worth noting that on the evening of May 11, a magnitude 4.6 earthquake was recorded in Romania, which residents of southern Odessa also felt.
