Odessa's Recovery: New Investments in Infrastructure

13 May 2025

The Odessa city council has decided to allocate 50 million hryvnias for the repair of buildings that were damaged during Russian attacks in April-May 2025.

This information was revealed during the live broadcast of an extraordinary council session organized by the city's administration.

The majority of the funds will go towards the restoration of a partially destroyed residential building located at Yaroslav Mudry (Hlushko) Street, 2. The building sustained severe damage during a drone attack on April 30, when one of the Shahed drones hit the upper floors. Currently, evacuation of residents is underway as living there is deemed unsafe.

Additionally, 2.7 million hryvnias have been allocated for the repair of three schools that were affected by enemy attacks.
