Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov addressed the situation regarding the building damaged by an enemy drone strike: «We will do everything possible to ensure residents return home as soon as possible».

During an onsite meeting with residents of the building on Yaroslav the Wise Avenue, which was hit on the night of May 1, the mayor shared details about the restoration process.

According to expert assessments, the building has been deemed hazardous, and residents will be temporarily relocated for repair work. The city is offering compensation for housing rentals.

«An extraordinary session of the city council is scheduled for May 14, where the funding for the stabilization and restoration of the upper floors will be discussed. Prior to this, the technical report will be reviewed by the regional commission. We will do everything possible to ensure families can return as soon as possible», — noted Trukhanov.
