Inauguration of the Children's Creativity Exhibition in Jerusalem
On May 7, 2025, the grand inauguration of the 31st exhibition of finalists from the international children's creativity competition «Easter Glow» took place at the Holy Archangel Michael Women's Monastery in Jerusalem.
The competition was founded to support talented children and create opportunities for their creative and intellectual development.
The international exhibition «Easter Glow» brought together children from different nations. For 31 years, this grand artistic project has been ongoing. In 2025, the exhibition showcases works from children not only in Ukraine but also from many European countries, with their creative endeavors continuing thanks to the support of family and teachers.
The exhibition features 300 artworks, about 100 of which have received diplomas. The showcase includes creations in various materials and techniques, including watercolor, gouache, graphic works, dolls, stained glass, paper sculpture, decorative compositions, and more. The selection was made by an esteemed jury headed by Galina Lekareva-Nikitina, a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine and an honorary cultural worker of Ukraine.
In their drawings, children express personal impressions of the surrounding world, reflecting folk traditions with sincerity and directness.
As per tradition, the best works were recognized in three categories: painting, graphics, and decorative applied arts. This year, children from Ukraine, the Republic of Poland, and the USA participated in the competition.
