The Mayor of Odessa recently held an online conference with Christian Dahlberg Hauge, the head of the city council of Trondheim.

He expressed gratitude to the diplomatic entities in Ukraine that are facilitating the initiative of the Norwegian Ambassador regarding the collaboration between port cities.

Mr. Dahlberg Hauge praised the resilience of the Ukrainian people who have bravely resisted aggression for three years and emphasized Norway's unwavering support.

During the meeting, both parties discussed the advancement of international relations between Odessa and Trondheim, as well as cooperation in economic, energy, transportation, cultural, educational, and IT sectors.

Trondheim is Norway's third-largest municipality and serves as an innovative and technological hub. It hosts the country's largest university of science and technology and is a significant land and sea transport hub.
