Electric Vehicle Growth in Ukraine in 2025
In the first quarter of 2025, Ukraine's vehicle fleet grew by 12,800 electric vehicles (BEVs).
This information comes from the Ukrainian Automotive Industry Association (Ukrautoprom).
The highest registration figures for these vehicles were recorded in:
- Lviv region – 1961 units (94% used);
- Kyiv city – 1632 units (68% used);
- Kyiv region – 1120 units (76% used);
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 986 units (80% used);
- Odesa region – 761 units (76% used).
Among new vehicles, the most popular electric car was the BYD Song Plus EV.
Regarding imported used vehicles:
- TESLA Model Y – in Kyiv and its region.
- TESLA Model 3 – in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
- NISSAN Leaf – in Odesa region.
Additionally, it is important to note:
- In the first quarter, Ukrainians purchased 12,000 imported used passenger cars aged up to 5 years.
