On April 11, the cultural center ‘Union’ hosted the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Odessa Art School No. 12!

Over the years, the school has evolved into a hub of creativity and professional development. New departments and ensembles have emerged, including the Anima vocal ensemble, a folk instrument orchestra, and the children’s theater group ‘Dzhereło,’ which has received the title ‘Exemplary’ for the third time this year.

For half a century, the school’s teachers have opened the world of art to children and youth, nurturing new talents and enriching the cultural life of our city. Many students have become laureates of international competitions, bringing fame to the school. Hundreds of graduates have successfully carved out careers in the arts. The teachers are true masters of their craft, tirelessly passing on their knowledge and love for creativity to new generations.

A festive concert took place in honor of the anniversary, featuring performances by both young talents and their instructors.

During the concert, awards were presented to teachers who have made significant contributions to the school's development. Friends, art schools, libraries, and Odesa Lyceum No. 5 congratulated the school on its anniversary.

An exhibition of students' artworks reflecting their creative journeys was also presented.
