Train Route Limitations Due to Track Construction
Due to the construction of a European railway line in the Chop — Uzhhorod section, Ukrainian Railways has restricted the travel routes of passenger trains from Odesa, Poltava, and Kremenchuk to Mukachevo station. This has affected trains heading towards Uzhhorod.
This information has been reported by the Odesa City Council.
Ukrainian Railways advises travelers to plan their trips to Transcarpathia in advance.
Passengers from Odesa can reach Uzhhorod by taking train No. 12/11 Odesa — Lviv.
For passenger convenience, Ukrainian Railways has opened advance ticket sales for additional carriages on trains No. 59/60 Kyiv — Uzhhorod and No. 45/46 Kharkiv — Uzhhorod, which will operate on the Lviv — Uzhhorod — Lviv route, stopping in Sambir — Sianik.
Tickets are already on sale and can be conveniently purchased through the website, the Ukrainian Railways mobile app, and at train station ticket offices.
