Recognition of Top Energy Professionals in Ukraine

07 April 2025

Recently, Valentin Kravchenko, the head of DTEK Odessa Electric Networks, received the prestigious title of “Honored Energy Worker of Ukraine.” This accolade is not just a personal achievement but a recognition of the daily efforts of the entire team dedicated to restoring power after each attack. This was reported by “Bessarabia INFORM” citing DTEK.
With over 32 years in the energy sector, Valentin has climbed the ranks from an electrician to a leader. Amid the ongoing war, he is one of those organizing the teams to restore light to Ukrainian homes as swiftly as possible.

Alongside Valentin, three other colleagues have also been awarded the title of “Honored Energy Worker of Ukraine”: Sergey Kokutsa, emergency response department manager, Nikolai Khachina, senior master of the substation repair and operation center, and Roman Stamat, head of the high-voltage network operation department.
