18 individuals were killed in the missile strike on Friday evening, including 9 children.
"Sadly, 3-year-old Tymofiy passed away on April 5 in the hospital. Seven-year-old Radyslav, 7-year-old Arina, nine-year-old Herman, and 15-year-olds Danilo, Mykyta, Alina, 16-year-old Kostyantyn, and 17-year-old Nikita," President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.
Currently, 75 people are known to have been injured.
37 individuals remain in hospitals, with 19 in critical condition.
The invaders struck Kryvyi Rih on Friday evening with an Iskander ballistic missile containing a cluster munitions payload, hitting the center of a residential area with a playground, cafe, and houses.
Hours later, Russian forces attacked the city again using drones.
One person died and seven others were injured as a result.
Zelenskyy's call to the international community
In his evening address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged the world to exert pressure on Russia.
"Russia must be held accountable for its actions; we must genuinely press them, avoiding idle talk, to end this war," the president emphasized.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who previously criticized the U.S. for its "weak" stance regarding the missile attack in Kryvyi Rih, called for not remaining silent about Russian crimes.
"To ignore that Russia kills children with ballistics is wrong and dangerous. It only encourages the scoundrels in Moscow to continue the war and to disregard diplomacy. Weakness has never ended a war. Therefore, I am grateful to every country whose representatives have spoken out: leaders, foreign ministers, embassies," the president noted.
