In the Yaskiv community, a 62-year-old man unlawfully occupied a plot of land by the Dniester River, creating a fishing area with a gazebo without any permits.

During the investigation, law enforcement officials determined that he had seized 33.21 m² of territory that is part of the natural reserve.

Investigator Daria Stotska stated, "The man used part of the state nature park for his personal leisure area without any authorization documents."

It is known that the area he seized is of state significance and is subordinate to the Ministry of Environmental Protection.

The pre-trial investigation against the offender is completed, and the indictment has been sent to court. He faces charges of illegal occupation of land, specifically concerning particularly valuable land. Under part 2 of Article 197-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, he could face up to two years of imprisonment.

Recall that earlier a native of Mykolaiv forged a military ID and attempted to leave Odesa for Moldova.
