Financial Assistance for Veterans to Engage in Sports
Veterans, apply for government financial aid for sports activities. Submit your application via the DiiA app for 1,500 UAH in the second quarter of 2025.
Use these funds for gym memberships, swimming pools, or sports classes to maintain your physical fitness, relieve stress, and make new connections. Sports are becoming more accessible, encouraging more veterans to engage in activities for their recovery.
How to apply for assistance?
- Open the DiiA app → Services → Veteran Sports.
- Familiarize yourself with the program rules.
- Create a DiiA card and select it for fund allocation.
- Review your application and click Submit.
Applications are accepted until April 20th. Funds will be credited to your DiiA card within six working days.
The program is available for combatants and individuals with war-related disabilities who have a tax identification code and confirmed status in the Unified State Register of War Veterans. When filling out the application, the status is automatically pulled from the veterans' register, not from the DiiA certificate.
If you do not use the entire amount, the remainder will return to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, and in the next quarter, you will receive another 1,500 UAH. However, if you do not utilize the aid within the quarter, you will need to reapply next time.
Veteran sports are more than just physical activity. They provide veterans with the opportunity to restore their strength, alleviate stress, and find community support.
The project is implemented by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
