Security Challenges in Odesa
During a constructive dialogue, critical issues regarding security and humanitarian conditions in the region were addressed. Special focus was given to the operations of ports, the grain corridor, energy stability, and cultural life.
In response to questions from foreign colleagues, I emphasized that Odesa is a multinational region with over 130 nationalities. However, today we are united in our struggle for the independence and territorial integrity of our state. Regardless of nationality and faith, we are all Ukrainians, working daily for victory and the future of our children, even under bombardment.
Ms. Delphine Pronk highlighted that the world is impressed by our people's resilience, and therefore, support from EU partners will continue so that Ukraine can endure and become a full member of the EU and NATO.
We stressed the importance of ongoing international support and the need for additional air defense resources to ensure the safety of the Black Sea region.
