New Horizons in Supporting People with Disabilities in Odesa Region
The Friedehorst Foundation, based in Bremen, is renowned for its long-standing commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities and the elderly. This organization showcases a comprehensive approach to social services, rehabilitation, and adaptation.
During our visit, we had the opportunity to explore various departments of the foundation, particularly those focusing on care for individuals with disabilities, rehabilitation programs for children and adults, and modern support methods for the elderly.
The experience gained in Bremen is extremely valuable for our region, as we aim to enhance accessibility and social integration for all population groups. We discussed opportunities for collaboration in exchanging experiences, implementing modern rehabilitation technologies, and developing training programs for specialists working with individuals with disabilities.
We paid special attention to the development of long-term strategies for supporting socially vulnerable groups that can be adapted to our regional conditions.
