Youth Health Initiatives: New Strategies for Disease Prevention

08 October 2024

Specialists from the «Youth-Friendly Clinic» at the Primary Health Care Center No. 2 continue their outreach efforts to promote health among young people.

This week, as part of the Student Union Activists School at Odesa National University named after I.I. Mechnikov, interactive group sessions were held focusing on HIV prevention and other significant diseases, combating smoking and alcohol use, and fostering safe behaviors. At the end of the training, participants created posters promoting a healthy lifestyle.

«Today, we must take steps to raise a healthy youth, as they represent the future of our country. At the beginning of adulthood, it is crucial to gain the right guidance and learn to take responsibility for one's health,» emphasized Ludmila Kucherenko, head of the «Youth-Friendly Clinic».
