The State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" has initiated the sale of Christmas trees, having already sold around 10,000 trees. This information comes from the press service of the enterprise.
This year, it is planned to sell approximately 140,000 coniferous trees. Should demand be higher, additional supplies will be procured. The enterprise manages 2,700 hectares of "Christmas tree" plantations, home to 7.8 million Christmas trees.
"Prices for New Year coniferous trees remain reasonable and have hardly changed compared to last year - ranging from 210 to 250 UAH. Spruce/Fir - from 240 to 280 UAH," the message states.
Higher prices are noted in low-resource regions in the East and South, near major cities (Dnipro, Odesa, Mykolaiv). The cheapest Christmas trees are offered in the forested areas of the North and Polissya (Volyn, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv).
Additionally, some branches of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" offer New Year trees in containers, starting at 500 UAH depending on the size.
Trees can be purchased directly from the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" without any extra charges. Their branches organize retail sales at market squares in forest enterprises, fairs, and local markets.
It is emphasized that Christmas trees sold by the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" are mandatory marked with tags or self-adhesive labels, confirming their legality and safety.
