Health Update in Odesa: Control of Flu and ARVI
According to the Odesa Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the incidence of flu and ARVI in Odesa is at a seasonal level, falling 31% below the epidemic threshold.
Last week, there were 2564 reported cases of ARVI and flu, with 70.2% of those being children under 17.
The number of COVID-19 cases in Odesa decreased by 2.1 times, with nine laboratory-confirmed cases reported, all among children. Free COVID-19 vaccination points continue to operate in the city's family clinics.
In terms of acute intestinal infections, 42 residents fell ill last week, with 61.9% being children.
Isolated cases of viral hepatitis and airborne infections were recorded. No cases of diphtheria, measles, rubella, or tetanus were registered over the week.
The epidemiological situation in Odesa remains stable and controlled.
