On the evening of November 8, a fire erupted on the roof of a private house on Postal Street in Odesa's Peresyp district. Firefighters swiftly tackled the blaze, which spread over an area of 90 square meters. However, the situation was complicated by significant clutter in the yard.

According to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Odesa region, the fire posed a threat to neighboring structures.

"The cluttered yard hampered the firefighters' efforts. Nevertheless, the fire was brought under control over an area of 90 sq.m. Fortunately, there were no casualties," reported the State Emergency Service.

Emergency units quickly arrived at the scene: 6 fire engines and 23 firefighters from the State Emergency Service, along with 1 unit and 4 volunteers from the Ukrainian Association of Volunteer Firefighters. Currently, specialists are investigating the cause of the fire and potential material damages, considering various scenarios including violations of fire safety regulations and electrical malfunctions.
