Preparation for the New Heating Season in Odesa
The new heating season is approaching in Odesa. Municipal services are actively preparing central heating systems for the winter.
Starting from spring 2024, right after the previous season ended, the «Housing and Utilities Services» began modernizing the internal central heating systems for the 2024-2025 period.
Experts are conducting repairs and preventive actions on the equipment of heat-utilizing installations and are also checking and adjusting the thermal energy accounting systems, addressing any identified issues in hydraulic modes.
Additionally, workers are flushing pipelines, restoring thermal insulation, and verifying the sealing of engineering inputs.
Hydraulic tests have already been conducted, the heat consumption systems have been adjusted, and a series of other necessary works have been carried out for the stable operation of heating in residential buildings.
After completing the preventive works, the systems are filled with chemically purified water under pressure, and the inlet valves are closed.
At the start of the heating season, plumbers will begin to sequentially open the valves of the central heating systems, which usually takes some time, after which heat will start to flow into the apartments of residents.
