Ukrainian Surgeons Collaborate at International Congress
Orthopedic surgeons from Odesa are part of the Ukrainian delegation at the German Congress of Orthopedics and Traumatology DKOU - 2025, taking place in Berlin from October 28 to 31, 2025.
Ukrainian specialists are showcasing the domestic trauma surgery school on an international platform and discussing future collaboration opportunities with colleagues worldwide.
During the Congress, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the All-Ukrainian Association of Trauma Surgery and Rehabilitation and the German Society of Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery. This document solidifies the strategic partnership between two powerful professional communities and opens new avenues for experience exchange, joint research, and scientific publications, as well as participation in international training programs and forums.
«Signing the Memorandum is a crucial step for our country, ensuring interaction between two significant professional associations from Ukraine and Germany. It expands our access to modern European science and clinical practice, allowing us to implement the advancements of global traumatology and orthopedics in the medical care we provide to our patients,» emphasized Chief Freelance Orthopedic Traumatologist of the Health Department, Ministry of Health Expert in Orthopedics and Traumatology, Sergey Varzar, who is participating in the Congress.
