29 October 2025

The Ukrainian Navy has received new Combat Boat 90 vessels from Sweden and Norway. Vice Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, commander of the Ukrainian Navy, announced this on his Facebook page.
«These boats are already part of our fleet, and their numbers have increased as a full division has been formed based on this equipment» - stated Neizhpapa.
According to him, CB90 boats are among the best in the world and are used in various countries, including NATO member states.
They are fast, maneuverable, and reliable, designed for a variety of missions, including troop deployment, coastal defense, patrol duties, and safeguarding civilian shipping.
The boats are equipped according to modern maritime warfare requirements, and their crews have undergone comprehensive training to effectively utilize all the capabilities of the technology.
«I personally tested the Combat Boat 90 in action and am convinced that these boats will be a powerful tool in the hands of our warriors», emphasized Neizhpapa.
He also reminded that the supply of this equipment is yet another result of the collaborative efforts within the Coalition of Maritime Capabilities of Ukraine, established to enhance Navy potential.
