Ukrposhta has announced the launch of its own network of parcel machines. According to the company, the first 100 units will be installed this year.
Currently, only residents of Kyiv, where 70 parcel machines will be set up, and Odesa, which will have 30, can utilize this new service. The company plans to expand the network across Ukraine by 2026.
Packages can be received using a PIN code or through the updated Ukrposhta 2.0 app, which was introduced in September and is now available on the App Store and Google Play.
The statement indicates that the Ukrposhta parcel machines were designed with enhanced security standards and are capable of operating offline, even in the absence of electricity or connection.
