Emergency power outages are being enacted in Ukraine due to the aftermath of extensive attacks on energy facilities. This was reported by the National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" on Facebook.

"As a result of the large-scale missile and drone strikes on energy objects by Russia, a significant number of consumers are left without electricity in Kiev, Kyiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Odesa regions. To stabilize the situation in the energy system, emergency outages have been introduced in these areas," the statement said.

Energy workers are making efforts to restore stable electricity supply as soon as possible. Emergency outages will be lifted once the situation in the energy system stabilizes.
