New Security Measures at the Black Sea Port

26 September 2025

The Black Sea port has completed the initial phase of a protective program by installing three mobile shelter structures. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority. By the end of the year, an additional seven shelters are set to be installed.
The Black Sea port has become a pioneer in implementing a program aimed at enhancing the safety of maritime infrastructure workers. In the future, mobile shelters are planned to be placed in the ports of the Greater Odesa region and along the Danube.
Each shelter is designed considering the specific operations of the port, allowing for maximum protection of the personnel involved in critical infrastructure, which is vital for maintaining Ukraine's export stability, as noted by the AMPU.
