The Unique Shell Maze at
A remarkable maze made of rapana shells has been unveiled in the family park «New Vasyuki» in the village of Molodizhne, Odesa region, Ukraine.
This announcement was made by Lana Vetrova, the head of the National Register of Records of Ukraine, on her Facebook page.
The total length of the maze walls is 486 meters, and the wall thickness is 25 cm. The area of the maze reaches 911.3 square meters. Over 134 tons of shells were used to create this extraordinary site, collected from various sea shores where storms had washed them ashore. Each shell underwent a meticulous cleaning and drying process under the sun, which took years and required immense patience. However, the eco-park owner, Vasyl Voloshynov, was confident in the outcome.
As a result, the record for «The First Shell Maze» in Ukraine was established.
