Ukraine celebrates Armored Forces Day on September 14.

This was announced by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal via his Telegram channel.

"Armored units are a strong shield for our nation. The speed, skill, and resilience of Ukrainian tankers are what the enemy fears most," Shmyhal stated.

"Dear soldiers! In the most challenging moments, you demonstrate remarkable heroism. You have quickly mastered new technologies provided by our allies. Your experience has set an example for the free world," Shmyhal addressed the troops.

He expressed gratitude to Ukrainian tankers for their daily courage and professionalism.

"Eternal memory to those who gave their lives in the fight for Ukraine and its people," added Shmyhal.

It is worth noting that the President of Ukraine, by decree on September 9, 2023, established Armored Forces Day, which will be celebrated annually on September 14.
