This week, firefighters in the Odesa region extinguished over 200 fires in natural areas and open spaces. The flames destroyed about 345 hectares of land, which, according to the State Ecological Inspection of the Southwestern District, caused damages exceeding 30 billion hryvnias.

This information was provided by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Odesa region.

Remember, setting fire to dry grass is a crime. It harms nature, people, and animals! We are working to ensure that such actions are punished!

We emphasize the following:

• Do not burn dry grass and waste!
• Do not leave campfires unattended!
• Keep an eye on your children!
• Immediately report fires by calling 101!
