A search operation is currently taking place in Chornomorsk for a 2009-born boy who went missing at sea on July 28.

According to the press service of the State Emergency Service of Odesa region, rescuers have already searched 444,800 square meters of the seabed, including 47,000 square meters using an underwater drone. They also checked 455 kilometers of the coastline.

The search efforts are ongoing.

It is reported that the boy was swimming near Plyazhna Street when he suddenly disappeared from sight. Due to strong winds and high waves, divers were unable to conduct search operations that day. Rescuers began the search for the missing boy on the morning of July 29, as soon as the weather conditions allowed.
