Launch of the New Multi-Account Card in Ukraine
In Ukraine, a new multi-account card called "Diia Card" has been introduced, which enables users to create an account using their smartphones in just a few clicks through the "Diia" app or partner banks: "PrivatBank", Monobank, and "Kredit Dnipro". This card will allow Ukrainians to receive various government financial assistance.
The new service is available for individuals aged 18 and older, provided they have a passport and TIN.
According to Ukraine's Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov in his Telegram channel, the "Diia Card" will be valid for all government payments and services, and the list of partner banks will expand over time.
Currently, the "Diia Card" can be used for payments such as: "eBook", "eBaby", military bonds, support for veteran sports, unemployment benefits, assistance for internally displaced persons (IDPs), pensions, and aid from international organizations.
Soon, the card will also be used for payments under the "School Kit" program. The national cashback programs and "eRecovery" will continue to operate separately and will not be included in the multi-account card.
