Ukrzaliznytsia has blocked 271 clients who were massively purchasing tickets and manipulating the company’s application.

This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

Users of these accounts attempted to misuse the UZ app intended for individual ticket purchases for other purposes, including:

• creating numerous linked accounts to bypass restrictions;
• holding tickets without proceeding to payment (presumably waiting for an "order");
• buying multiple tickets under different names and engaging in other actions that were detected by the anti-fraud system.

"Similarly to financial institutions, Ukrzaliznytsia has strengthened customer identification and deployed a monitoring system for unusual user activities while using our online services," the statement reads.
