The implementation of the «Barrier-Free Movement» project is in full swing in Odessa. 

An online meeting was recently held with the central office team of the initiative, chaired by Oleksii Kuleba, the Minister for Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine, with participation from Deputy Minister Natalia Kozlovska. 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of the project in Odessa, including the initiatives already in place and the next steps. 
The city has received new proposals for implementing barrier-free solutions, which are now moving into practical application. A key priority is engaging businesses in adapting entrances to commercial establishments according to modern building regulations. 

Some reconstruction projects have already commenced in areas included in the first phase of the barrier-free route. 

Odessa continues to rank among the leaders in implementing barrier-free solutions.
