The Deputy Mayor of Odessa, Serhiy Kotsyuba, held a meeting with experts from the Barrier-Free Council.

The primary goal is to ensure safe and comfortable mobility for persons with disabilities, veterans, and all mobility-impaired groups.

Currently, an assessment of routes is underway: the state of pedestrian infrastructure, points of tourist interest, service areas, and navigation systems are being examined.

«We aim for every visitor and resident of Odessa to experience the city not just as beautiful, but truly accessible», stated Oleksiy Morozov, advisor to the Mayor on barrier-free space.

The work on the route will be conducted in several phases and will include consultations with the community, experts, and representatives of mobility-impaired groups.
