A tree fell on a tent with teenagers in Balta during a storm, resulting in the death of one boy.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

The tragedy occurred during a sudden deterioration in weather when a strong wind caused a tree to crash onto the camping tent occupied by children.

Rescuers managed to extract four teenagers and handed them over to medical personnel. Unfortunately, the fifth boy could not be saved.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the child's death.
