Fire in Odessa: Tackling Blazes

In the Peresyp district of Odessa, along Khadjibey Road, a fire ignited, engulfing reeds, dry grass, tires, and debris in multiple spots.
The challenge was the rapid spread of flames fueled by combustible materials, high air temperatures, and the lack of access roads.
The fire was brought under control over an area of approximately 12 hectares.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Fortunately, there were no injuries.
A total of 8 units of equipment and 30 firefighters were engaged from the State Emergency Service, along with 1 unit of equipment and 3 personnel from the municipal «Rescue and Diver Service», and 1 unit of equipment and 4 personnel from the National Guard fire brigade.
