Yesterday afternoon, in the Berezivka district of the Odessa region, near the village of Broshevanivka, a fire broke out affecting dry grass.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service.

The fire was extinguished over an area of 2.8 hectares. During the independent firefighting efforts, a 1990-born citizen sustained minor burns but refused hospitalization. The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are being determined.

Two units of equipment and eight personnel from the State Emergency Service were involved in the firefighting efforts.
