Last night, a fire broke out in the village of Stari Shompoli, located in the Odesa district. The fire engulfed a building covering an area of about 28 square meters, along with dry grass over approximately 200 square meters.

This information was reported by the State Emergency Service.

The fire was swiftly extinguished.

Unfortunately, a deceased individual was found at the scene (a woman born in 1946).

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are currently being investigated.

Two units of equipment and eight firefighters from the State Emergency Service were involved in the response.
