Fire Breaks Out at Market in Odessa Region

Three trading pavilions caught fire at a market in the Odessa region. The flames spread over an area of 80 m². The cause of the fire was identified as a short circuit in the wiring. This was reported by the emergency services press office.

The incident took place yesterday, July 9, in the village of Sergiyivka in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district. On Budzhakskaya Street, three pavilions ignited at the local market. Firefighters managed to extinguish the blaze quickly over the area of 80 m².

"There were no casualties or injuries. The fire was caused by a short circuit in the electrical wiring. The emergency services dispatched 3 units of equipment and 12 firefighters, along with 1 unit from the local firefighting team of the village of "Shabo" with 3 personnel," the statement said.
