New Services for Veterans: DiiA App Expands
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs, together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, has launched a new section in the "DiiA" mobile app called "Veteran Pro", aimed at military personnel, veterans, and families of fallen defenders.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at the presentation of the new digital platform Veteran Pro in Kyiv, according to "Interfax-Ukraine".
"Today, we take another step towards our defenders by implementing the digital ecosystem 'Veteran Pro', which is exclusively focused on the veteran community.
This platform provides veterans with access to existing state support services, including adaptation programs for civilian life," Shmyhal said.
He added that the ecosystem will be continuously updated and expanded, incorporating new services and initiatives that veterans need.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, veterans will also have the option to change the DiiA app icon to a veteran-stylized version.
He noted that the app will automatically adapt when used by a veteran, offering services tailored specifically for them.
The new functionality in "DiiA" is designed for various citizen categories: war veterans; affected participants of the Revolution of Dignity; family members of deceased (passed away) war veterans; family members of fallen defenders of Ukraine.
