Transfer of Real Estate Assets in the Odesa Region
New assets related to the port infrastructure of the Odesa region have been transferred to ARMA.
Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the Southern Interregional Territorial Administration of ARMA and the Specialized Environmental Prosecutor's Office, a decision by the court in Odesa has led to the transfer of these properties to the National Agency for the Search and Management of Assets.
These assets may be utilized to ensure the stability of cargo flows, strengthen the food and energy security of the state, and restore logistics chains during wartime.
Despite ongoing threats, Odesa's ports continue to operate reliably. Since the beginning of 2024, over 46 million tons of cargo have been exported via sea routes, including products from the agro-industrial complex.
In light of the temporary unavailability of ports in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions, Odesa plays a critical role as the country's sole logistics center, accounting for about 80% of the overall cargo flow.
Currently, these properties have already been inspected by ARMA specialists. The next step will involve conducting an independent appraisal of the assets. After determining their market value, the assets will be put up for open competition through the Prozorro system to find an effective manager.
Stay tuned for updates on the competitive offerings!
Information about the selection of managers is available on the official ARMA website under the section «Management of Seized Assets».
