The Mayor of Odessa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, held a meeting with Vladimir Luzhetsky, the commander of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 28th separate mechanized brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign, and his comrades.

This brigade has already received over 138 million hryvnias in aid from Odessa. Currently, they are defending Ukraine in a challenging sector in Donetsk. The city has received a new request for assistance, which will be processed promptly.

This year, Odessa allocated 206 million 93 thousand hryvnias from its budget to support the Defense Forces, of which 10 million went to the 28th brigade. Last year, Odessa transferred nearly 1.42 billion hryvnias in military support.

The city continues to work and assist the Ukrainian defenders.
