Memory Event in Odesa: Honoring the Fallen
Today, at the intersection of Nyna Strokata and European streets in Odesa, a memory event titled "Honor. 9:00" took place. The primary goal of the event is to remind residents of the importance of a daily moment of silence in memory of those who perished due to Russian aggression.
Honoring the memory of the fallen
Tens of thousands of individuals, both military and civilian, have lost their lives to the armed aggression of Russia. Organizers emphasize that each of us can take a minute each day to honor their memory.
Local citizens joined in
Concerned residents participated in the event by using signs to remind drivers on the road about the moment of silence. Drivers understood the brief delay and stopped to pay their respects to the deceased.
It is important to note that the memory observance is declared every day in all cities of Ukraine, according to presidential decree №143/2022
"On the Nationwide Moment of Silence for Those Who Died as a Result of Armed Aggression by the Russian Federation Against Ukraine".
"Stop, remember, honor. Memory is action!" — the organizers of the event stressed.
The organizers invite everyone to join them every Wednesday and Saturday at 8:50.
