Good Deeds Week 2025: Uniting Ukraine Through Kindness
Odesa has launched «Good Deeds Week 2025». This annual charity initiative brings together local authorities, businesses, and the community to perform acts of kindness for the benefit of society.
This year is no different as we witness the execution of 15 weeks of good deeds scheduled from April 4 to July 18.
«We are gathered here today to not only launch the «Good Deeds Week» — we are opening our hearts, sharing our energy, and turning our dreams of a better future into reality. It is especially heartwarming that the good deeds extend beyond Odesa and unite all of Ukraine!»
Thanks to your efforts and volunteers from various cities, kindness is becoming a universal language understood by everyone, regardless of age, place of residence, or profession,— noted Odesa's Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.
In 2025, the project has expanded and is being implemented in other cities across Ukraine.
The project's initiator, Deputy Mayor Pavlo Vugelman, addressed the participants:
«I truly believe in the boomerang effect of kindness. I believe that kindness always returns! And I believe that you don't always need resources or money to do good; sometimes all it takes is the desire to help!»
