Achievements of the Odesa-Basket Team in Adaptive Sports
The adaptive sports club «Odesa-Basket», led by Vasyl Rybak, a candidate of medical sciences, participated in the Ukrainian billiards championship for men and women with mobility impairments, veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and their families.
The tournament took place from October 11 to 13, 2024, in Kyiv at the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine.
On the first day of the tournament, the first place in the team standings was claimed by Serhiy Kotsiuba, a veteran of the Russo-Ukrainian War and a leading specialist of the city's rehabilitation service.
The next day, Serhiy Kotsiuba won the Ukrainian championship in sports billiards. The third place in the overall standings was shared by Odesa players, «Odesa-Basket» team members Dmytro Danilov and Valerii Chuhuev.

Within the structure of the Odesa City Council's Department of Health, a department has been established to coordinate rehabilitation assistance for the quick and effective rehabilitation in Odesa medical facilities. The head of the department, leading rehabilitation physician Vasyl Rybak, personally holds weekly receptions for veterans and coordinates multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams in all city districts.
